Henderson County Livestock Show:  March 19-25, 2023 Major Stock Show Updates

• Major Steer Validation – 2022 Date TBA at McGee Cattle Pens (4272 CR 4706, Athens) – Tag orders due April 19th to Extension office emily.splawn@ag.tamu.edu – tags $20 each
• State Fair Lamb & Goat Tags – Due to Extension office April 19, 2022 emily.splawn@ag.tamu.edu – Tags $15 each
• State Fair Swine Validation — Orders Due by April 23, 2022. Swine Validation Tag Order Form State Fair 2021
• Fall Major Heifer Validation – Contact the Extension office to get your heifer validated. Will be done in June 2022
• HCLS Validation – Saturday, October 2022 from 7-11 a.m. at TVCC Ranch for steers, market lambs, market goats, commercial heifers, yearlings, major lambs, and major goats
• Spring Major Heifer Validation – Validation will be held October 2022 5-7 p.m. at Cross Roads AG Barn
• Major swine validation  – Tuesday, November 2022 4-6 p.m at Brownsboro Ag Science Barn – Swine Validation Tag Order Form
• HCLS Broiler Orders due to Extension office by Wednesday, January 2022 – Broiler Order Form 2020
• HCLS market fryer validation – Saturday, February 20, 2022 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. – Rifle Building at Henderson County Fairgrounds
• HCLS market swine validation – Saturday, January 16 2022 7-11 a.m. at the Henderson County Fairgrounds
• HCLS breeding, horse show, scholarships, calf scramble, shop project, and youth project show entries due – Date TBA
