4-Hers: Deadline for entering the State Fair of Texas or the East Texas State Fair is Friday, August 19th. Entries and payment are due to the Extension office. Deadline for entering the Heart O' Texas in Waco is September 9th.

This is a FREE EDUCATIONAL event hosted by the Henderson County Wildlife Committee, This years topic is Dove Season. The committee will be selling FALL RENDEZVOUS T-SHIRTS soon, $10 each or a bundle package, which includes a t-shirt, raffle ticket, koozie and meal ticket for just $25. Do Well Be Well with Diabetes was designed by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension specialists to target patients who have recently been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, have had diabetes for many years, or for the spouses and caregivers of loved ones with diabetes. The class series provides participants with the latest information on managing blood glucose.
